Refund Policy
If Legible isn't right for you, we'll refund you in full within 14 days of purchase. No questions asked, no forms to fill in, no reason needed.
How to request a refund
Email hello@getlegible.app from the address you bought Legible with, or include your order ID in the message. A single line is enough: "please refund my Legible purchase." You don't owe us an explanation. If you'd like to share why, we'd find it useful, but it's entirely optional.
How quickly we process it
We aim to action refund requests within one business day. Paddle, our payments provider, then refunds the money to the original payment method. This typically appears in your account within 3 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
What happens to your license
Once a refund is processed, your license key is deactivated. The app will revert to trial mode the next time it checks in with our license server. You can keep using whatever version you've installed until that check happens, but the license will no longer activate on new machines.
After the 14-day window
We can't offer refunds for purchases older than 14 days as a matter of policy, but we do read every email. If something has gone wrong and you think we should make an exception, get in touch and we'll do our best.
Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by this policy. If Legible turns out to be faulty or doesn't match its description, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, regardless of how long ago you bought it.
Chargebacks
Please email us first. We'd much rather refund you directly than deal with a chargeback. It's faster for you and cheaper for us. Charging back without contacting us is grounds for revoking the license under our Terms of Service.
